Yes, yes, everyone has heard of a Moscow mule, BUT have you heard of a tequila mule!? Probably not, and let me tell you, you’re missing out. You know I’m a tequila fan. Palomas for one. I’m also a big margarita fan, like my watermelon margs… and regular margs. I needed a way to bring tequila into the fall spirit. So, here we have a smoked tequila mule.

This cocktail is perfectly spicy with the ginger from the ginger beer, bubbly, and refreshing. Then you add depth to it with the smoke. It’s *insert chefs kiss*, perfect for fall.

This would be delicious without being smoked. But you do need a smoker to make it smoked for this recipe.

Smoked Tequila Mule

Makes one cocktail
 
Ingredients

+ ice
+ 2 oz tequila
+ 1.5 oz lime juice
+ 3 oz ginger beer
+ Sliced lime

Instructions

  1. Add ice to your copper mug.
  2. Add in tequila, lime juice, ginger beer, and stir.
  3. Add a sliced lime for garnish.
  4. Get your smoker out and smoke your cocktail! If you don’t have a smoker, drink it as is!
